Palma del Río : Michelin's recommendations
The town of Palma del Río is in the heart of the Córdoban countryside near the confluence of the River Guadalquivir and River Genil. Approaching from Córdoba along the A431, the whitewashed Ermita de la Virgen de Belén, a chapel named after the town’s patron saint, can be seen on top of a small hill to the right. A turning on the left leads to Palma del Río, reached after crossing a long 19C iron and concrete bridge spanning the Guadalquivir.
