The ferruginous spring stands behind the hermitage of Nuestra Senora de las Angustias (Our Lady of Sorrow). Water enthusiasts may be game for a little test: it is said that the water from each of the spring's five mouths has a different taste.

The waterfall (chorreón) opposite the Agria spring is reddish in colour due to the iron ore found in the area.
