Prado del Rey : Michelin's recommendations

Although Prado del Rey is located close to the whitewashed towns of Arcos de la Frontera and Villamartín, unlike its neighbours it is not made up of a jumble of houses clustered on a hillside; instead, it is laid out in a perfectly geometric pattern. This is because it was founded by King Charles III in the 18C, at a time when planning concepts drew on the rationalism of the Enlightenment for inspiration.
