An old 16C market and abattoir with very classical lines which is perhaps surprising in this baroque setting. The simple stone doorway topped with the shield of Fernández de Córdoba has two curious ringed columns back to back. The building, in a square plan, has a central patio and angle towers. At the bottom, to the right of the window opening onto the plain, a spiral staircase descends into the room where the animals were slaughtered (now an exhibition hall).
