This whitewashed village perched among the olive groves south of Cazorla has much to offer visitors. It is part of the Parque Natural de Cazorla, whose landscapes have been perfectly captured by the local painter Rafael Zabaleta. The source of Andalucía's main river, the Guadalquivir, can be found in the mountains around Quesada.

The painter Rafael Zabaleta (1907-1960), born in Quesada, captured the light of the village and the Sierra de Cazorla to wondrous effect. The museum contains a fairly big collection of his works.

Andalucía's great river, the famous Guadalquivir, originates in an untouched landscape near Quesada at a height of 1 400m. You reach the springs along a track north of the village.
