Built in 1785, the arenas are among the oldest and most attractive in Spain and they are the largest in the world with a diameter or of 66 m. The neo-classical, simple interior is divided into two storeys with Tuscan columns topped by a stone balustrade. In the Bullfighting Museum (Museo Taurino) there are some bright garments and many souvenirs and photos invoking the family histories of the bullfighters of Ronda; the Romeros, the Ordóñez.
