The cave is 3km west of Santa Elena, towards Miranda del Rey. It contains remarkable paintings, animal outlines drawn with a steady hand.

You reach the site by taking the Arroyo del Rey route, which crosses gorges and goes through areas where strange shapes have been formed by erosion and heavy rain. The rocks look like gigantic tubes, hence their name.

The amazing Iberian sanctuary lost in the mountains is near Santa Elena, on the Aldeaquemada road.

The site is famous for its waterfall that forms a spectacular sheet of water as it descends, and for its superb gorges gouged out of the mountain by the Río Guarrizas.
