Situated to the north of Ronda, Setenil is unusual in that it is the only village in this part of Andalucía featuring troglodyte houses. Not a single chimney is visible here – all that can be seen are rows of dwellings built into the rock. The best places to view these are in the Cuevas del Sol (Caves in the Sun) and Cuevas de la Sombra (Caves in the Shade) streets.
