Advise to history lovers: the prehistoric section of this rich museum contains the treasure of El Carambolo (7C-6C BC), a marvellous collection of golden Tartesian jewellery of Phoenician influence of a surprising modernity, as well as the Goddess Astarti (8C. BC), a small bronze figurine whose inscription is one earliest examples of writing in the peninsular. Not forgetting the superb Roman collection mostly coming from Italica.
