What is perhaps the most unique monument in Seville was built at the end of the 15C and finished at the start of the 16C by Don Fadrique de Ribera. Its highlights include the marvellous patio which brings to mind an elegant Arab palace with its superb arches in finely chiselled stucco and splendid 16C tiles; the statue of Pallas Athena, an original Greek work from the 5C BC; and an extraordinary collection of busts of Roman emperors.
