It was the Seville architect Aníbal González who began the three buildings on this square at the time of the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929: the Royal, pavilion at one end, in the Isabeline style, and opposite each other in the middle of the square, the Renaissance and Mudejar pavilions. The Renaissance pavilion contains the Archaeological museum,the Mudejar pavilion contains the Museum of Art and popular Costumes. Two visits not to be missed.
