The southernmost point in Spain, Tarifa is where the Atlantic and Mediterranean air masses meet, hence the winds which make this one of Europe’s major windsurfing spots. There are two pleasant beaches here: Playa Chica, a small creek near the port, and the magnificent Playa de los Lances.
