Surviving in its new modern environment, this is the last of the many windmills that gave the resort its name. Torremolinos means "tower of the windmills".

The architecture of the new district with whiter than white walls reflects the way northern visitors imagine Andalucía. Although the place is somewhat artificial, it is still pleasant to wander around the alleys with their bars and restaurants.

The impressive tree-lined promenade has countless restaurants specialising in fish and seafood.
