Ubrique : Michelin's recommendations

The small town of Ubrique, founded in the 15C in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema, occupies a beautiful setting across the Cruz del Tajo hill. Today its name is known throughout Spain thanks to the bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique, but it is also famous for its traditional leather goods. The tobacco pouches of yesteryear have now given way to satchels and purses. The upper section of the town, beyond Plaza del Ayuntamiento, is home to the 18C church of Nuestra Señora de la O.
