On a hilltop north of Córdoba, the ruins of an imposing rectangular fortress dominate the surroundings, affording a wide panorama. To reach the ruins, take one of two dirt tracks that lead off from the Córdoba road, respectively 100 and 200m before the village. You come to an esplanade where you can see the ruined walls of the 10C construction, and admire the view over the Puente Nuevo Reservoir.
