Arenys de Mar : Michelin's recommendations
Originally a fishing village in the 14C, the town has developed into a lively summer resort. Its sandy beaches, such as the 500m-long Playa de Cabaye, attract large numbers of holidaymakers. Protected by a mountain range with a continental influence, Arenys has a spring-like micro-climate, even in winter. The marina, one of the best in Catalonia, is the venue for major sailing competitions.
