This long avenue crosses the town in a diagonal direction from East to west. City University and Barcelona football club's New Camp, stadium are situated at the top of the Diagonal avenue. In this are you will find the Torres Trade (trade tower), on Charles III avenue, which is a group of cylindrical towers built on platforms of differing heights and a construction symbolising Barcelona's new architecture, built in 1968 by Josep A. Coderch.
