In this museum, you are given a fulfilling, interactive lesson on the history of the Catalan Navy, which includes many extremely valuable pieces. Note the Portolano of Gabriel de Vallseca (1439), the nautical map which belonged to Amerigo Vespucci and a lifesize copy of the huge galley commanded by Don Juan of Austria at the Battle of Lepanto (1571).
