Olympic ring
: Michelin's recommendations
The Olympic ring, built for the major sporting event of the 1992 Olympic Games occupies the vast esplanade on the upper section of Montjuïc. The central area, dedicated solely to sport, is made up of the Olympic stadium facade, which dates from 1929, and the Sant Jordi palace, a sports stadium designed by leading Japanese architect Arata Isozaki. The other interesting works include the I.N.E.F.C., pavilion, the University for Sport, and the great telecommunications tower.
