This magnificent museum, to which Picasso donated 1 700 works before his death, pays homage to the relationship the artist had with the city of Barcelona. The most important section contains a large number of little-known drawings from his early years. The collection of works up to his blue period highlights the evolution of his style and talent. The Las Meninas series, inspired by the famous painting by Velázquez, consists of no less than 58 extraordinary canvases.
