The many religious buildings which used to stand along the Rambla del Centre(or dels Caputxins) have been replaced by café terraces, hotels, shops and souvenir shops. Note at the start of la Rambla, the floor which Joan Miró designed for the Pla de la Boqueria, a small esplanade at the entrance of the Liceu and the traditional and best-stocked market in town, the Mercat de Sant Josep (and the Boqueria). A mixture of aromas and colours not to be missed.
