This is where the Rambla meets the sea. On this wide promenade is the former Convent of Santa Mònica, now a modern art centre holding temporary exhibitions, and the Marc Palace, a fine neo-classical building whose indoor covered patio is the seat of the Department of Culture of the Regional Government.
