La Oliva : Michelin's recommendations

Between the 17C and the middle of the 19C, La Oliva was the political centre of Fuerteventura. From its past role, the village has retained the Casa de los Coroneles (18C), the former residence of the governors of the island, an edifice with harmonious wooden balconies and flanked by two crenellated towers. Not far away is the Casa del Capellán, a tiny and charming double-roofed house.
