: Michelin's recommendations
The capital of the Segarra, a town characterised by its impressive Santa María tower, dominates the surrounding limestone landscape. This medieval town has a university and a rich history, whose most famous episode is the signing of the Catholic Kings’ marriage contract. Cervera has retained its fine stately homes, especially in the carrer Major. The town is renowned for its cultural and artistic activities, such as the famous Passió, where episodes from the life of Christ are re-enacted.
