Between Coll de Nargó and Tremp, the road follows a series of canyons dominated either by slopes clad in pine and holm oak or barren hillsides. It continues upwards with the river on one side and yellow and pink crests on the other, offering views over amazing landscapes particularly from the Collado de Bòixols (1 380m). The road then reaches a large U-shaped valley whose terraced crops extend as far as the foot of Bòixols. It then descends the valley, which gradually widens until merging into the Conca de Tremp.
