A chapel houses a reclining Christ by Gregorio Fernández, a major work of Spanish art made out of coloured wood in 1605 on the request of Philip III.

Built in 1772, the Prince's Pavilion was totally renovated in 1784 by Juan de Villanueva. It is a stone and brick pavilion decorated in the late 18C style with silk-covered walls and sumptuous ceilings in the Pompeii style.
