This medieval town is home to the 18C church of Sant Salvador, a neo-Classical building with a graceful octagonal tower. Inside, admire the impressive Baroque organ on which Pau Casals (1876-1973) learned to play. Standing against one of the old gates in the walls, the Can Guimerà is an 18C seigniorial mansion whose façade is decorated with fine frescoes and which now houses a museum devoted to the poet Angel Guimerà (1845-1924).
