The climb up the Hill of Urbasa is steep, but varied (rocky outcrops and copses) and beautiful. The contrasting valley that follows, spacious and wooded, is pleasantly refreshing. Descending after the summit (927m), there are views of the tall limestone escarpments before dropping down into the gorge of the River Urenderra and its clear waters.
