Girona Travel guide
Girona : Michelin's recommendations
The historic town of Girona was the episcopal see and capital of the medieval county of the same name. It enjoys an ideal location at the confluence of the Ter and the Onyar, the latter crossing the whole town and dividing it in two. The old town is a network of charming streets, squares and elegant buildings. The new town stretches out across the plain, between the left bank of the Onyar and the La Devesa park.
