Jávea
: Michelin's recommendations
Clinging to the mountainside, this charming historic town boasts fine arcaded houses and narrow streets. Around the church of San Bartolomé, with its strikingly sober exterior, admire several extremely interesting Gothic palaces such as the Palau d’Antoni Banyuls on Calle Primicies, which now houses a small archaeological museum. The modern part of this elegant seaside resort developed around the port and the Platja del Arenal, home to the parador.
