This museum offers a chronological tour of the region's history and art in two parts. First, from the Bronze Age to the Muslim period (remains of the archaeological site of Genó and the Roman Villa del Romeral; the Visigoth baptistery of El Bovalar; quartz pieces from a chess set from the Fatimid period), then from the Reconquista to the 18C (Romanesque altar ornamentation; murals from the Pia Almoina, Gothic paintings from the Ferrer workshop, sculpture by the Lleida School, etc.).
