In the heart of the winter garden of the Campo del Moro, which offers a beautiful view of the Royal Palace, a pavilion houses this superb collection of royal carriages, dating mostly from the late 18C: among the highlights, note the 17C black carriage and the Royal Crown berlin made in the 19C for Ferdinand VII: drawn by eight horses, it retains traces of the attack on Alfonso XIII and his wife on their wedding day.
