The Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation was born from the couple's desire to give Palma a living cultural and arts centre. In the shadow of Son Abrines, Miró's home since 1956, the Star Space designed by the architect Rafael Moneo Vallès accommodates works bequeathed by the artist in rotation. A visit also gives you an insight into the world of one of the most original creators of modern art, particularly in the large studio which his friend Josep Lluis Sert designed for him.
