Peratallada
: Michelin's recommendations
Standing on rocky gullies (hence its name, which translates as “broken stone”), Peratallada is considered to be one of the best examples of medieval architecture in the Ampurdan area. This fortified village is centred around the large tower of its castle-fortress, now a luxury hotel. Plaça de les Voltes, adorned with a small portico and lined with old houses, is one of the most emblematic images of the region.
