This coastal town is situated in a small bay sheltered from the foothills of the Sierra de Les Gavarres. Passeig de la Mar, a tree-lined promenade running parallel to the beach, is the busiest street in the town. During the summer months, the numerous terraces and Modernist-style cafés, (such as the Casino dels Nois), are teeming with tourists. The boutiques selling items made from cork contain a variety of gifts ranging from simple corks to more decorative objects.

Sant Feliu church and monastery

The remains of this former Benedictine monastery from the 10C are on Plaça del Monestir. The towers of Del Fum and Del Corn, as well as Porta Ferrada , a strange portal in the pre-Romanesque style with wide arches, are the oldest parts.
