Santa Coloma de Farners : Michelin's recommendations

Situated at the foot of the Sierra de Les Guilleries, Santa Coloma is the main town of the “comarca” of La Selva and has become its main centre, thanks to its intense commercial activity. The park of Sant Salvador and its famous fountain stand in the middle of the town, which is the birthplace of the poet Salvador Espriu (1913-85), one of the most important authors in the Catalan language. Its local delicacy is teula, a type of waffle.
