The interior of the church has an impressively large nave designed in a byzantine style. The retable is the work of the great architect Casas y Novoa. Under the elegant cupola, you will notice the ceremonial staircase that leads to three cloisters including that of the Processions. Exiting out onto Plaza de la Inmaculada, you will be struck by the colossal façade of the convent that stands with its large doric columns. Opposite, on Plaza de la Azabacheria, stand the jewellery makers.
