The alcázar dominates the valley at the far end of the town. Many of its rooms have preserved their magnificent ceilings, weapons, paintings and furniture from the medieval era. From the terrace, enjoy a fine panorama of the lush Eresma valley; the views of Segovia from the keep are equally magnificent. The rooms of the Real Colegio de Artillería (Royal Artillery College) house a museum dedicated to chemistry.
