This square in the heart of the town’s old aristocratic district evokes Segovia’s past history. It is lined by an impressive number of monuments: the 15C house, with a gallery beneath its roof; the tower of the Casa de los Lozoya; and the Casa de Solier, with its Plateresque façade. An attractive church, the Iglesia de San Martín, stands in the centre of the square. The old prison, with its ornamental Baroque pediment, is also worthy of note.
