This classical 17-18C building with three naves and a cupola crowning the transept crossing, overlooks the town square, the setting for numerous events, including traditional dances, concerts and plays.

In summer, this fine square lined with arcades is one of the busiest places in town.

Built in the 13C, it is situated on a little headland to the north of the town, offering a fine panoramic view over Tàrrega and the surrounding region. It was turned into a fort in the 18C during the third Carlist war.
