Terrasa : Michelin's recommendations
The town of Terrassa, whose origins date back to the Roman municipium of Egara, lies in the western part of the Vallès region, surrounded by a circle of mountains in the Parque Natural de Sant Llorenç de Munt i Serra de l'Obac. This important centre is known for its textiles, architecture and civic buildings – the result of an economic boom in the early 20C. The group of churches of Sant Pere has preserved some valuable examples of pre-Romanesque architecture.
