Teruel : Michelin's recommendations
At an altitude of 916m, the capital of Lower Aragón stands in a landscape of ochre gullies, which give the area its unusual appearance. The wealth of Mudéjar art in Teruel can be explained by the good relations between Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities here until the 15C. The last mosque was closed in 1502.
