Plaza Fray Anselmo Polanco 3 E - 44001 Teruel
Built in a palace with an elegant Renaissance façade with loggia, this houses collections of ethnology and archaeology. One floor is devoted to ceramics, the other to activities that have made Teruel famous since the 13C.

2 Church of San Pedro

Despite rebuilding in the 18C, this church has kept its original Mudéjar architecture in the tower and chevet. A church outhouse is used as a funerary chapel for the Lovers of Teruel.

The late 13C artesonado ceiling has been preserved. In the left transept stands a retable of the Coronation of the Virgin from the 15C. The retable of the main altar was sculpted in the 16C by Gabriel Joli.

4 Mudéjar towers

There are five towers in all. Built between the 12C and 16C, they stand on three floors. The two best examples are the San Martín and Del Salvador towers, built in the 13C.

5 Plaza del Torico

Lined with rococo style houses, this is a traditional place to meet, named after the tiny statue on a column in the middle of the square.
