The main Jewish temple in Toledo at the end of the 12C, it was given in 1405 to the Knights of Calatrava, after having been transformed into a church. In spite of all that, the interior has retained the characteristic style of the Almohade Arabs. Five naves on tiered levels top one another, separated by horseshoe arches that support 24 octagonal pillars. The white plaster makes the capitals and the marvellous decoration of the upper part really stand out.
