Situated in the south of the Costa Brava, this picturesque village lies amid magnificent natural landscapes characterised by steep cliffs covered in pine trees and cork oaks, beautiful rocky inlets and beaches. The old town (12-14C) stands at the top of the Tossa headland to the north of the attractive bay. Admire Tossa’s remarkable fortified walls, with their simple crenellations and seven large towers (three of which are round) with machicolations.
