Trujillo : Michelin's recommendations
The modern town hides the charm and originality of Trujillo’s old district, which lies further up the hill on a granite platform. Trujillo was home to an impressive number of New World adventurers and pioneers, such as Francisco de Orellana, Diego García de Paredes, and Francisco Pizarro (1475-1541), the conqueror of Peru.
