The Valencian region has built a solid reputation in the field of ceramics. Its museum bears witness to the fact, with over 5 000 items coming mostly from the Levant workshops: Paterna (13C), Manises (14C) and Alcora (18C). The collection is on display in the baroque palace of the Marquis dos Aguas, with a doorway by Ignacio Vergara. The exuberant decoration of this place forms an astonishing showcase.
