Set in a contemporary outhouse of the royal palace, this museum is designed along the lines of a cultural centre devoted to wine. It covers all aspects of wine growing and producing, in addition to the culture that has grown up around wine: bottles and glasses (some of which are part of the unusual Toby Jug collection), drinking songs, tasting skills. All of which provides an excellent introduction to a wine walk in the Penedès region, where over sixty wine cellars are open to the public.
