Vilanova i la Geltrú : Michelin's recommendations

Capital of El Garraf region, Vilanova is a bustling town on the Catalan coast. It was an important trading town in the 18C, based around the cotton industry created by the “Indianos”. Its attractions include a large fishing port and marina, fine sandy beaches and renowned local fish specialities. The many picturesque festivals in Vilanova, such as Tres Tombs in January, the Carnival, and the Festa Major in August, are well worth a visit.

Víctor Balaguer Library and Museum
