The museum exhibits items of significant historical, artistic and documentary interest. Its Venus, a Paleolithic callipygean sculpture, recalls the famous Willendorf Venus. Celtiberian art is represented by the Arrabalde Hoard. Note the fine sigillated ceramic Roman cup bearing a decorative frieze reminiscent of Greek vases.
